Accenture is a global leader in digital, cloud and security technologies. Their services range from strategy and consulting to technology and interactive. The company employs more than 500K people worldwide and services clients in more than 120 countries. Accenture delivers on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.
Newcastle ATC’s Managing Director got in touch with Three Motion seeking to develop a new promotional video. The aim was to demonstrate Accenture’s capabilities and culture, encouraging potential customers to bring their technology projects to them. It was important that the content was underpinned by their 4 pillars. They are collaboration, innovation, skills and community. The client also wanted to reflect on the changes in their way of working caused by the pandemic.
In the pre-production stage, the client developed a narrative to be presented as on-screen text. Then the Creative Director and I worked together to work out a plan of how best to support the messages with visuals. As a result, I developed a detailed storyboard and a running order which was utilised by our production team on location.
The project was filmed across two days. The crew captured scenes on a number of different locations including Accenture’s office in Cobalt Business Centre and in the homes of two local employees.
Once we moved on to the post-production, I started building the sequence against an upbeat, electronic track which supported the narrative perfectly. I developed 3 different treatments of how we could deliver the narrative with animated titles. Accenture’s team unanimously agreed on placing the text in a way that it felt it’s a part of the scene. In order to achieve this, I used an object in each scene as a guide for alignment. This approach successfully delivered the messages without disrupting the flow of the video.
To top and tail the edit, Eddie created two animations which demonstrated Accenture’s scale and collaborative way of working.
The client’s feedback on the final video was beyond positive. They’ve used the promotional video across events, meetings and within internal applications.
